Larry is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Buckinghamshire where he specialises in cataract surgery and diabetic retinopathy. He undertook his ophthalmic training at the Moorfields Eye Hospital and at Sussex Eye Hospital, Brighton and was a clinical lecturer at Oxford Eye Hospital. He has a particular interest in the teaching of microsurgical skills and has designed training modules which have been used through-out the world. He frequently works on behalf of ORBIS, a nonprofit humanitarian organisation dedicated to blindness prevention and treatment in developing countries. He is the Honorary Secretary of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. |
